What most
people don’t know is that high blood sugar can cause severe damage to their
health. Whether you are diabetic or not, high blood sugar can cause damage to
your nerves, organs, and blood vessels. The real danger is when your blood
sugar level does not go down, that is when serious health problems can occur.

2 INCREASED
EATING HABITS: If you find your eating levels are increasing, then you might
have diabetes. The reason is because; glucose is unable to enter the cells. Either
lack of insulin or possibly insulin resistance. When this happens, your body is
unable to convert the food you eat into energy. So if your body feels it doesn’t
have enough energy, it will require more food to try and produce energy.
3 FREQUENT
URINATION: T his sign is directly linked to constant thirst; your kidneys are
unable to keep up with the excess sugar. So the only way they can get rid of it
is through urination. Keep an eye on your trips to the bathroom; if you notice
you are going every hour, you could have diabetes.
4 CHRONIC
FATIGUE: When you have diabetes, you feel weak and tired all the time for the
same reason that you are always hungry. Your cells aren’t getting enough
glucose to use for energy. Dehydration caused by frequent urination contributes
to this exhaustion.
5 BLURRY
VISION: When you have high blood sugar, it can cause the lenses of your eyes to
swell. Anyone that has had swollen lenses knows that that it causes their vision
to become blurry. In most cases, these are just temporary but if not properly
taken care of, it can lead to permanent blindness. So, it’s best to consult
your doctor to get proper diagnosis.
6 DRY SKIN:
If you experience this sign, your blood sugar levels may have been high for quite
some time. High blood sugar levels can cause the nerves to become damaged and also
causes the body to lose fluids rapidly. If this process continues for years,
the skin becomes dry.
7 WEIGHT
GAIN: If you have diabetes, chances are you might be insulin resistance. In this
case, your cells no longer respond to insulin. It is very difficult for insulin-resistant
cells to take glucose from you blood sugar levels and this causes you to gain
weight.

8 IMPOTENCE:
For men, when it comes to getting an erection, they rely on proper blood flow. High
blood sugar levels disrupt that blood flow and even damage the nerves and blood
vessels.
